Honest answer required: What is your crunching : testing ratio? 1:1? 1:2? 😀

lol ,well if you take just the past few days it's 100% testing! ,but if you take the past 8 1/2 yrs (nearly) then it's probably about 99.9% crunching & 0.1% testing😛

Not including any gaming though😉

The story behind this testing round started with me trying to increase the clock speed of my quad over 3GHz ,thought it would be easy seeing as it runs 3GHz @ 1.3v(loaded).
I got it 24hr prime stable at 3.2GHz (1.33v loaded) even though 2 cores were peaking at 69C!. F@H EUE'd in 5mins flat though!:Q ,I tried increasing vcore & then lowering it to 3.15GHz but it made no difference.Increasing FSB VTT upto 16% from 12% helped a little (it was managing to get to a whole 11%😛) but it wasn't enough & I didn't want to bump it up more due to temps.
Even at 3.1GHz ,16%+ FSB VTT & vcore +0.1125v it wasn't F@H stable 🙁,so I gave up.
Then wondering if something else had gone wrong I re-tested it at 3GHz.
I think maybe part of the problem is the rubbish build quality of my Thermalright Ultima 90, the base isn't flat & it is clearly not making full contact with the CPU (I got pics for anyone interested) & thus 2 of the cores are running 12C hotter than the other 2 when running Prime95. Peaking at 69C is my limit, so until I lap my HSF 3GHz will do.

Oh & I've only just now switched back to DPAD 😱 ,I wanted to climb a few more ranks in F@H 1st😉
