Hmmmmm, stats. Yummy. :)

I'm loading my machine with DPAD right now, due to the BOINC issues. Seems to be running fine. I have had issues in a specific game (Sacred 2), and I'm not sure why. I changed out the processor, but nothing else was bothered. Probably have to uninstall & reinstall.

So I'm running DPAD for now. :)

Thanks for the stats, Assimilator1 :)

About how many points should I get from a results file of 1,586 KB?

 I guess I didn't wait long enough for the stats and/or misunderstood one of the columns

So it looks like that 886K is how many points I got for that 1,586 KB results file :D

It was from some unguessable time (2-4 days on and off) of using DPAD to keep my new i7 920 D0 crunching something in between testing different OC settings and to keep some heat on the HSF/chip before connecting it to the net.

Since I got it connected I have been running one F@H GPU client on an EVGA GeForce GTX 275 (at default whatever that is). It seems to only sip CPU cycles, but gets HOT!! Speedfan says 87 C, is that too hot? The plastic on the narrow edge of the double slot card is too hot to touch for but a second. The side of the case is off. Before I started up the GPU client the TRUE on the CPU was cool to the touch, now it seems body temp.

Also running for a while, one F@H SMP using four threads and one BOINC Malaria Control running four threads just to see how things work together with eight threads ;)
Realtemp shows 70-75 C for the CPUs with ambient probably at 85+ F in this corner of the room. The room and RealTemp CPUs would be much cooler if not for the GPU
Well winter is coming and the heat will be appreciated

But yeah now that I have a system that will send results, I do have some built up that I will be sending.

Wow your CPU seems rather on the toasty side!, although I don;t know what the safe limits are for an i7.
Your GPU is somewhat on the borderline of safe temps, if it were me I'd speed the fan up a bit to drop temps to the low 80s if poss.

OK how do I speed up the fan

I've never had a GPU with a fan

EDIT: I found the download to control the fan and OC. How much can I OC this thing?

w00t! 1,158,132 points! I got this much from another different 1.5 MB results file yesterday
