DPAD : CPU or RAM bandwidth?

In short, is DPAD CPU bound or RAM bound. Will you see a difference tweaking up some more RAM bandwidth for DPAD if CPU clock stays the same?

Played around with the registers on my MPX using wpcredit and wpcrset, got somewhere between 10% and 20% more RAM bandwidth according to Sandra.

But from experience i've seen better results with a higher clock speed than memory speed...

i'm waiting for my sticks of Samsung DDR400 and i'll let you know later 😉
 
Yeah, DPAD loves an increase in either way, be it FSB or CPU clock speed. If you use a Duron chip, for example, and have used your pencil 😉 then run it at a higher FSB to get better output.
