DP or HDMI for Gsync 2k

Hey all
I just upgraded from a 1080p to
a Dell Gaming S2716DG 27.0 Gsync

I was just wondering if I should use HDMI or DP? This will be my first 2k monitor also first monitor to have display port. I've also never used Gsync before, so that'll be a new experience.
If it matters, will be running this on an overclocked 980ti

As far as I know, G-Sync only works with DP right now. So stick with that.

Yep, current G-Sync modules only support DP as of now. HDMI adaptive sync has been teased by both Nvidia/AMD but is not supported yet.
