howdy, thinking about this recently.

if i enabled bitlocker on a drive then what are the possible downsides?

i was thinking of scenarios like if i encrypted my android phone - e.g if i took my mSD card out and connected direct to a PC then i can't access my data any more.

is bitlocker like that? as in if my PC fails, can i disconnect a drive and connect via usb to my laptop and still access the data?

can you access a drive via ultimate boot cd type thing for doing a virus scan etc?

thanks :)

I'd say, no ???

worse thing that can happen is you forget the recovery key.
