Downloads for ASUS A8N-SLI Premium??

I was just on the ASUS download site for the A8N-SLI Premium and I'm not sure which files to download.

I need the latest BIOS, Audio (even though I'm not going to use it), LAN, and NVIDIA Chipset Driver.

Most of the drivers list Windows 64bit under the description. Is this the same driver I need even if I'm not using Windows 64bit?

I should get my A8N-SLI Premium on Wed and I'm just getting stuff ready for the swap.

So can someone help me out here? Which updates do I need? Also, should I use the latest beta BIOS?

Thanks,

You don't want the 64-bit dirvers unless you're installing the 64-bit version of XP/2003. The only thing you really should download is the NF4 Standalone package from Nvidia's site, everything else on the supplied CD is current and it will likely come with the latest released bios 1005, mine did and I've had the board for a few weeks. Appears that 1006 will be along shortly unless you want to install the beta. For the initial install you will not need any special drivers unless you plan to use the SI3114 sata/raid for your install drive. If you use the NF4 standalone package you can use the Nvidia sound drivers instead of the Realtek one's that Asus provides if wanted. I honestly don't know which perform better but I've tried both and I prefer the Nvidia drivers mostly because I cannot stand the interface of the Realtek software. I've found both to have clean sound, cleaner on this board than on the Asus A8V Deluxe, DFI Lan-Party UT Ultra-D NF4 and MSI K8N Neo4 SLI Platinum 939 boards I've used previously.

You'll find that after you have everything installed and if you have not yet put the supplied CD in the drive that you will have an outstanding "?" icon (ATK0110) in the hardware listing, just put the CD in the drive and it will go away.

Oops, sorry, not everything on the supplied CD is current, if you want to use the nTune software then the newest is also on the Nvidia site.
