Downloading/Streaming

Hello:

I am setting up a server that wil have multiple users. On the server each memeber will have thier own room(set of files). I would like for each memebr to have the ability to stream and download from thier respective room, but only the ability to stream from the rooms of others. Also, only make those streamable files available to be seen by other members. Any ideas??

I have no idea how you would set that up? Maybe some software on the net will manage it ... but I have no clue.

whats the server going to run? i would think a pro version of win2k or winXP would do thsi easy as user shares

probably doable in linux relatively easy too, but i couldnt tell you how

But There is FTP software out there called War FTP Daemon, it's a great tool.
