I am entering the fray... Wish me luck.

What kind of frame rates can I expect from my Radeon? ;)

Newb question:

Does the client download work and then do it, or do I need to be connected the whole time?

you only need to be connected to download and upload work, you can set how many hours of work you want your client to download.

Welcome to the team :)

I currently have this in the screen:

How do I get it to download work, so I can disconnect and eat dinner?

It should have already disconnected--that was this:

[Jun 11 23:48:46 UTC] Retrieved RC5 work unit 24 of 24 (100.00% transferred)
[Jun 11 23:49:04 UTC] Retrieved OGR work unit 24 of 24 (100.00% transferred)

It is now doing an OGR stub, not RC5. If you want to do RC5, you must select configure, then select 2, then 9, then you must make sure RC5 is listed ahead of OGR, or put in under "Load-work precedence ==>" RC5,DES=0,CSC=0,OGR=0, and it won't ever do OGR.

BTW, you may want to go to options 13 or 14 on that same screen and increase the size of your in-buffer from 24 if you don't want the client connecting too often to get more packets. Each option contains a brief description of the variables, or check back here and someone can post an .ini for you.
