downloading problem

when I try to d-load a .exe file for a driver update i always get a error when I try to run it....any help would be appretiated...I have turned off the anti virus but not windows firewall...is the firewall killing the download? i can download it on my other computer burn it to disc and run the same files on my puter...is there a setting that i am missing on my puter?

Same problem here. Lets consolidate the troubleshooting to ttimbo75's thread. (I came down with a sore throat today so I get to troubleshoot and drink hot tea all day long) 😉
 
thanks for the redirect TT and YES that was the problem the" Nvidia network access program" was killing my downloads!!! I went to Add/Remove programs and uninstalled it and all is well!!! 🙂
