Downloading newest version of Mandrake

I currently have mandrake installed and I'm interested in downloading a new version to update it. When I go to the mirrors to get the most recent one though i get something like this:
http://ftp.ale.org/pub/mirrors/mandrake/devel/2005/x86_64/
It clearly isn't set up in a format to burn to a cd because i'd take hours individually saving each file to the hard drive. Is there a way that I can download it just to install within linux or what is the point of setting it up in that format?

Well I think that that version is different from the 2005 one. I was curious though. If i update mandrake through system preferences will that always be the most up to date version or how do I know when they come out with a version so revolutionary that I need to download isos and copy over the already existing operating system? Mandrake seems to be good, I'm a experienced windows and mac os x user and I'm learning the ropes of using the command line more than I'm used to. It's very interesting but slow going when I don't know what is going on.
 
If you aren't planning to beta test then don't bother upgrading to "devel" (or "cooker") versions. Wait for the "Official" release.
