Downloading from Steam problem

I purchased a game off Steam and I am constantly getting the message that the servers are to busy, even at 5 AM. Is this common?

Well, I am able to download every Steam game I have except for my recently bought Torchlight. Every time I try it fails.

Wow, a day and a half later, I am finally able to download Torchlight.

maybe because of the half price sale, tons of people were buying it?

I've never had this problem though.

Sometimes it help to restart Steam when that happen.

there is a .blob file or something that you should delete. atleast thats what the steam forums recommends.

I'm not getting any errors, but my download speed has crawled to about 30k. I guess I'm not the only person who found their deals too good to pass up.

Change your region setting to a non-US server. You'll usually get a faster download speed doing this.

I got this suggestion off the steam boards also. I changed my region and it worked great for the rest of the stuff.
