Downloading Difficulties

I've got an ASUS A8N-ALI mobo, and I suspect there may be a problem with it. Anything I download from an online source arrives corrupted in some manner. I don't seem to have any trouble uploading files to other sources, and my internet connection does not have any apparent breaks. Help! I'm completely confused.
 
is downloading successful on any other computers?

have you checked to make sure all your chipset/lan/etc drivers are up to date?

im assuming your connecting to your mobo nic. do you have a pci nic to test?
 
First, correction to the above, it's an A8N-SLI (typo)

Downloading on other computers over the same line is perfect.

I've tried to locate which current drivers I need on ASUS' website, but have been less than successful. Their customer service seems to be lacking a great deal as well. Currently, all I have are the drivers from the CD that came with the mobo.

Unfortunately, I don't have a pci nic to test.
