I'm using Newsshark to download a large .rar file from a newsgroup and when it was done I had 747 different .txt files in the download folder. When I open the .txt file I can see the .ro1, .ro2 extension in the header of the file but they were not put together like the program usually does? Any ideas why this is happening? Do I need to rename each file :( Use A different Newsbot? or what?

TIA

heh, 747 files seems like a lot out of a 650 meg download. how big is each of those files?

sorry I was typing this from work...actually it was 757 .txt files that were 645kb each...but I did find out that the type of encoder was yenc and that Newssharks latest ver will help with this. Now my problem after getting the .iso image of 694mb is how to get it on a 650 mb CDR?? Do I need to go out and buy a $450.00 DVD/RW drive :( I know thats not what my wife will want :) Is there a way to trim down an .iso image??

Just got done trying that (using 700mb cdr) using Nero, it said it had finished but the CD doesn't work. Also can't read it in either cd drive. Any ideas??

try using different burning progs such as Fantom CD, or Disc Juggler. Disc Juggler is hard to use though as you have to manually set everything for an iso.
