Download speed in different programs

because they download at your full speed whereas when you are donwloading from a site, they usually limit the speed for each connection to keep bandwidth available for other users. That's why if you use a download manager, it initiates multiple connections to the same site for the download link tricking it into thinking it's 8 different computers downloading so thus you get the full speed. Doesn't work 100% with all sites but with the majority it does. I never download without my favorite download manager (Internet Download Manager) always downloading @ full speed.

Try downloading this file from Microsoft and notice you will be getting very high speed...... Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) 32-Bit Edition Microsoft doesn't throttle the downloads usually
