I am SICK of paying $1.25 a song through iTunes. What is the cheapest and best way to download full albums and/or single songs LEGALLY.

I see Amazon.com and Walmart.com seems to be decently cheap...

Then buy from Amazon and Walmart.
But aren't the songs available from Walmart hand ripped by blind Chinese children sitting in the rain and mud with nothing but a nail, a bootleg CD, and a keyboard to work with?

If they are, I swear on the graves of a thousand innocents I will buy exclusively from Walmart for the rest of time. My word is my bond. Everyone knows this.

Lala.com is good. Really big selection, full song previews, and if you only ever listen to songs when you're at your computer, you can get high quality web-only versions for $0.10 a song. Most albums are $9.99 and most songs are $0.79-0.99, though I'm starting to see more for $1.19.

PM me if you sign up so I can gets 5 free song credits as a referral.

rhapsody mp3s work with iTunes and iPod. I don't have an iPhone but it might work.

fobot.com
i only 'buy' music in the form of used CD's from half.com
rarely i'll buy a CD from B&M walmart if i want something brand new, which is only every few years

otherwise i just listen to stuff, either xm radio or on the internet through pandora or lala.com
