As far as Im aware of EFF.org was a reputable site. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and i'll quickly edit out the post.

i think so, but as far as i know, eff.org is not about file sharing and couldnt care less. They just dont like the way RIAA does things and infringes on people's digital freedom.
I agree. I never had an ill word to utter about the EFF.That wasn't the impression I was left with.
Did you read any of their articles ?
They are definitely PRO Copyright Holder Rights, which is not to say they endorse the RIAA tactics.
Being PRO Digital Freedom doesn't mean that copyrights are nullified. Which means most downloading without compensation to the Copyright Holder wouldn't be allowed.
The EFF is on the right track , I believe.
