Once you have completed your installation, you will be prompted to register your copy at the DAZ3D.com website to receive your Bryce 5 serial number
 
I don't have any graphics skills, but I can't resist free

I had an older version about 8 years ago, but never figured anything out at all
 
Looking at the site, it appears that after you reg it, you DL more stuff, but how involved that is isn't stated. I won't be home until t'row to try it. Don't forget to install it by 9/13!
 
I just did this.
The installation is easy. Just download, unzip and your done! Start up the exe in the unzipped folder and it will ask you to register. Follow all of the instructions and once you get your name and serial number just copy it over to the bryce program. It will then ask you to download another thing This. Which I guess is some sort of addon for more terrain or something. Unzip this then stick all of the files into the presets folder and then your done! I dont know if its stipped but my folder right now is 108MB. This took about 5 mintues for me to figure out and this seems to be a pretty neat program.

Thanks for the download link. I installed it this morning before work, but couldn't figure out where to download the remaining files (the directions weren't very clear for me). I'm currently downloading the addins.

Just as easy as this! One of those self-contained programs that doesn't have any installation. Just runs from any directory. Sign up was quick with email verification and download the additional presets. Program looks exactly the same as it did in highschool many years ago.

Better yet, go to http://www.daz3d.com/program/bryce/bryce5free.php for complete information abou the promotion. Looks like it's been extended through Sept. 20th.

Also, once you've gone through the registration and received your serial number you should log in and go to "Available Downloads" under "My Account" and you'll be able to get what I think is a full version (a 90MB installable .exe version). The file name will probably be ps_ap075_Bryce5.exe.
