Why in the name of Greek buggery does the speed limiter not work?

I set it to 160KB/sec, turn it on, and within a few minutes, it's back to hogging all 240KB/sec :| :|

I haven't used DAP in a long time, but maybe the speed limiter is per connection? Try something like 20 or 30, and see if that works.

It's definitely KB/sec, I've checked it several times.
It's really really odd; as if it wants to misbehave when my back's turned!

Stupid thing.

Net Transport has a working bandwidth 'speed limit' if you're looking to try something other than DAP.

FlashGET was the BEST Download Program I have ever used. It was so godamn easy. The only problem was the spyware.

But LeechGet is what I use now. No spyware pretty good but FlashGET was better.

Er

It appears that the problem's resolved itself now that my ISP has opened up a further segment on its 622mbit pipe. I guess their packet-shaping kit was causing some issues with DAP.
