Downgrade from Windows XP to Windows 2000

How do I reinstall?

You boot off the Win2k CD and follow the on-screen instructions.

Make sure you backup anything you need to keep though.

In your BIOS under Boot Devices make sure CDROM is in first place. Then if you have the Windows 2000 disc in it will start the install.

And why do you want to go back to 2000 out of curosity since Windows XP basically is 2000?!

I went to the BIOS menu at the beginning of the loading process that my comp goes through and went to boot sequence and put the CD ROM first and it still said that the disk was disable.

I just wanted to know if I can switch between the two without problems, nothing serious.

Dude, with your knowledge, you'll probably be left with a black screen after you're done messing with your machine. You need to do some SERIOUS reading up before you attempt installing another OS.
