The only good time for me to weight train is usually after midnight. I can get a workout or 2 in during the week at around 6pm, but its very inconsistant due to my 2 jobs.

What are the bad things about working out that late?

Reading an article about sleep paralysis the other day indicated working out up to 4 hours before going to sleep can lead to sleep paralysis and other sleep conditions. But that's about it.

I always end up working out around 1AM...never seems to have any adverse effects on my sleep or anything...

Nothing i can remember. I use to LOVE working out at 2-3am in the morning. Too bad i go to the Y now... really wish there were a 24h gym closer.

hmm i use to get sleep paralysis pretty often when i was a teen... on the average of 2-3 a week. And i've never once got it while working out late at night.
