Downer story of the day

Just watched this video on yahoo. What a bummer.

What happened is some young girl took off in her dad's Porsche, ended up crashing it and died. The accident was pretty gruesome, and somehow the gory pictures of the accident got on the web and spread quickly. It had to be tough enough of the family just from her dying. But then there are thousands and thousands of websites showing the accident pictures with plenty of mean comments to go with them. Why people would want to see those pictures I have no idea. Apparently there are lots of car accident websites (wtfgross) out there. If that wasn't bad enough the family has been continuously taunted through email/snailmail with people attaching the accident pics. The girl's sister even had threats that someone would put the accident pictures on her locker. Why people would do this I can't understand. The pictures never should of got out in the first place, but it's really sad what people have done :/

Hope her sisters and the rest of her family never see those pictures.

This is unfortunate situation for the family, but if porsche girl is alive today and there is a porsche boy picture, she will most likely want to see it. Curiosity is part of human nature.

the story is old. but the leaked pictures are new, atleast to me
i remember the story of the spoiled kid crashing a porsche.

this new thing..yeesh..i looked up the pics, she didn't get decapitated, more like her head smashed big time. i think the car slide sideways into the concrete overpass thing driver side first and her head smashed straight into the concrete. her body seems relatively intact.

grim lesson, but perhaps kids should see more pics.
its hard to get an idea of what crashes actually do to people. esp since its so sanitized in films and such where crash = bleeding from forehead but i still look handsome..

The state Department of Agriculture, which oversees ride safety, is investigating the incident that maimed Kaitlyn. Another hearing in the case is scheduled for Dec. 14.

A red flag that rides aren't safe.

That ride looks ancient. I wonder how much they'll get from the lawsuit.

Yeah I've seen those awhile back... Definitely the cops' fault who originally leaked the pictures. What's so hard about not sending them to people outside the investigation? Dumb.
