Down with the "<" Tags Every Time I Edit!

As can be seen in the FS thread linked in my signature, there has been an issue with random "<" signs appearing every time I edit my thread.

It appears to only happen with the highlight tag [(H)] and [(/H)], and started with the forum updates several months ago.

It's pretty annoying.

It's VERY annoying actually. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's probably been closer to a yr since the forum update, and SINCE then I've been getting this issue also. The "<" symbol is always before the [ H ] tag. In fact, it does the same thing with IE7 as well as FF. I have to manually edit it out every time I edit my thread. Before I submit my edited thread, I have to remove them first.

Do not expect anything to be corrected w/ respect to perceived issues.
Everytime something gets "corrected" at least two other things become not working.

I am confused with the expression "perceived issue" I don't see how it's not an issue - something is broken. Right?

Everytime something gets "corrected" at least two other things become not working.

The problem won't be fixed because the forum upgrade is "just around the corner". So expect to have to put up with the problem until at least July.
