Over the last year, the EU has provided more than $70 million to the PA to pay salaries of members of the more than 100,000 Palestinian civil servants. The EU aid has earmarked for paying the salaries of Palestinian police officers, Middle East Newsline reported.

Anyone believe that Arafat didn't use this money to fund the suicide bombings?

I'm sure some of the money is being misused, but I don't trust anything posted at WorldTribune.com because in the past they have posted wild stories that never panned out.

Do Europeans consider the French European? I thought disdain for the French was universal.
