Who thinks NIN is way better than Blink 18fag? Am I the only guy annoyed by these tempestuous faggots who can't write original music? The real music lies within the lines of Nine Inch Nails, VAST, Tool, Deftones, Garbage, Joy Division, Pink Floyd, etc. Who Else is fed up with this garbage?! ERGH.:disgust:

Ummmmm.......What makes blink 182 "faggots" for not having original music?

Music basically depends on your taste. I do not like NIN, Deftones, Garbage, Tool, Pink Floyd is pretty cool. But I dont think they all suck.

what disturbs me more is that show Popstars, where they actually fabricate a pop band

I love VAST!!! Joy Division!!!! Sweet :)

I hate blink when they said they hated anyone who plays solos in some guitar magazine.

<< Bad religion huh, you like them but not NIN and you vote for Blink, you bloody savage. >>

I didn't vote for anyone.

Anyway, I just don't like NIN, they have a weird techno-ish sound that doesn't appeal to me. (at least the stuff I've heard is that way)

Tool is OK; honestly, the only band you listed that I like is PF.

I don't care for Blink much, but at least they don't have the pretention that Reznor has about being the best musician on earth. Reznor was good for doing the Quake soundtrack, and I liked Pretty Hate Machine. That's about it.

I don't know where on Earth you think you see Reznor's vanity because it isn't there. Listen to him music and he tells how much he hates himself. I've NEVER heard him say anything between the lines of "I am very good at what I do" or he'd be singing a different tune.

I've seen it in several interviews with him. That was enough. He was a pretentious ass, which many musicians are; however, I don't think that at the time he was giving that schtick, he had earned it.

His music was new and innovative, but frankly, I don't care much for it.

A poll asking people to choose between a generic pop-punk entertainment band and a pretentious techno artist who hasn't done anything good in years isn't offering much of a choice. I'll vote Blink, because at least they don't think they're all that.

blink gets my vote. Sure they suck, but they made more money with less talent. The music industry is a huge greed-fest and joke anyways, so may as well judge the bands the way the execs and lawyers do: good=profitable.

You also can't compare modern music to bands that don't exist anymore.

Yes, they have released 9 things since then. (only one full length original album, but at allmost 2 hours I think it counts as 3 blink albums)

Not a huge fan of either... Tool, Distorted Penguins, a lot of others... none of the pop crap.

Well guys VOTE, I want to rub this forum in my friends face who hates all my music and is a major teenie bopper who just loves this punk Shi+. I'd appreciate if you put who you vote for at the bottom of your message so I can either castrate you or praise you. Thanks!

Wow, such excellent argument against blink. You could've said that they sound annoying with their emo-like voices and they play the same chords and they're way too poppy, instead of just calling them fags. But that's just me.

Anyhow, I like both, at least what i heard from reznor, and most of those bands you listed, so i'm not going to bother to vote.

Considering the age of Pretty Hate Machine, I think Trent Reznor is a great musician. Very original music and lyrics, purposly vague with a sense of darkness...

Less Than Jake, Catch 22 and Bouncing Souls all have more talent then Blink or NIN Combined

I agree with Psycho Andy "You could've said that they sound annoying with their emo-like voices and they play the same chords and they're way too poppy, instead of just calling them fags." I should have put it like that but I was too angry.

a thousand lips a thousand tongues
a thousand throats a thousand lungs
a thousand ways to make it true
i want to do terrible things to you

Yes. The Fragil came out afterwords and, IMO, is probably their best album and one of the best albums I've ever heard.
