Down two two motherboards

I am have whittled my choices down to 2 motherboards.

MSI 790FX-GD70

and
GIGABYTE GA-MA790FXT-UD5P

The Gigabyte has more PCI Express x1 (don't know what I would use them for) and
2 PCI which will be filled with my sound card and Wireless networking card.

I do not plan on getting more than one video card.

I also will need help with memory too.

That said, I've had the old MSI 790FX Platinum and it's been solid. The only mobo I have ever seen that as worth now what I paid for it long ago. I would expect the same dependibility from the latest variety (maybe not on resale value, though - LOL).

But I've had my eye on that Gigabyte - might be my next upgrade.
