I've got the Gigabyte and a 4790K running at stock. Its not caused me any issues. They have released two BIOS's this year to support the Gen 6's CPU's.

I think both are good choices. The power phase design on the Asrock seems to be a bit stronger (should be verified more thoroughly), but that may be only relevant if you want to overclock heavily.
My personal experience with Asrock is very good (no failure in roughly 8 boards) while it's nonexistent for Gigabyte.
If this does not appeal to you, save some $ and take the Gigabyte.

Anyone else care to chime in? Will be pulling the trigger on this before Wednesday - which is when the $15 off promo at NewEgg expires on the 4790K. ;)

I would go with the ASRock.
My first ASRock X58 extreme was a cheap fair board and each generation that followed was better then the last.
