This is beginning to become the Norm...... I lost a HD yesterday morning and untill I get a replacement me and Seti will be sparse.

Yea Seagate Barracuda IV 40 gig drive. Squealed and seized up. Was able to recover important stuff.

Sorry about the lost disk, but if you want to keep doing SETI in the interim, remember my KLinux/Seti system. Just put those batches (extracted, of course), your user_info.sah, and the SETI Linux static client on an DOS-formatted floppy. Of course you'll also need a KLinux disk. I suggest you choose a different proxy IP, in the "seti" batch, before you start.

To use the disk, start KLinux, login, swap disks, and type the following:

<< mount /mnt/floppy
/mnt/floppy/i
/seti
>>

Oh, and let me know if you have problems. You'd be the first tester besides myself. :)

Got a little 2.1 gig samsung drive and put seti on it :)

That little 2.1 gig drive used to be huge :D
