I've had it awhile and just finally started playing it last night.

I don't know if it's even possible, but is there a mod that makes your bases persistant like in Dark Cursade?

Good question. All the mods I've used were from moddb.com and I didn't use them enough to see if that's a possibility with any of them. You might check there. I've got some mods buried in my download folders that I might try to track down. The only mods I used with any kind of regularity in Soulstorm or Dark Crusade were for camera zoom level and hotkeys. I'll post back if I see anything.

You could always take a look over at the Adeptus Modificatus section of the official Relic forums, it's a great place to look for and even ask for mods in relation to Dawn of War and its expansions. As for the persistent bases in Soulstorm I actually asked about that in that very forum months ago, and back then the answer was that it wasn't quite possible to do it like it was in Dark Crusade, since Iron Lore (Soulstorm's developers) decided not to make them persistent in Soulstorm, it's a deliberate choice and part of it is hard-coded (at least that's what I remember reading about it, but it's been a while). You could always ask about that again there, maybe it has changed over time or with new modding tools, who knows.
