But why would you want to burn the only institution that can get us out of this mess?

Oh wait, they were the ones who got us in it...

Give it up. PCS has proven again and again he's a paper tiger when it comes to debating these things.

I was wondering when Robin was going to show up.

Hey, when the joker shows up to scatter more jokes (aka "I've got as much depth as Paris Hilton"), ya just gotta answer.

Oh noes! Insane Batshit and rob'em out to give financial advice! What shall we do? Oh yes, bailout = keep job.

As opposed to completely ignorant conspiracy theorists such as the cabal of RPBs running around? You giving financial advice is as laughable as McCain giving marital fidelity advice.

I'm giving financial advice? Where?

Good question.

Burn.

Just saw some "breaking news". Japan's Nikkei just had its worst drop in 20 years. How will that affect things?

Even though that proves McCain to be every bit the fraud Obama is it has absolutely nothing to do with this thread and neither of these candidates has the first clue how to fix this problem.
The trouble with you people is that you are not only brainwashed but that you have tunnel vision. Obama is every bit the puppet that McCain is.

You don't get it.

No one is arguing that they are both puppets.

It's just that Obama is a puppet for a different string puller.

Why stay with the string puller from the last 8 years?

That is what they want you to believe. The truth is that the same people are pulling the strings. They keep us focused on issues that are all based upon religion & emotion while both sides of the isle consistently vote to hand over the power to Washington all the while stripping the rights of the individual. Sure they give us individual rights to run naked in the streets but they remove our ability to pursue happiness by claiming and taking control of our money. I don't care how beautiful Barack Obama sounds. The man has demonstrated that he is a socialist.
Ever read the communist manifesto?
This is not meant to be an insult. The man says with it his own lips.
Do you not know that both men were in favor of this bailout package which essentially equates to a financial version of the patriot act?
Look...I don't think Obama is a bad guy it's just that he has no sense whatsoever of history. Neither does McCain for that matter.

Say whatever you want but it is the only option Americans have every 4 years is the opportunity to at least switch clubhouse leader.

Failure to at least switch is just that failure.

If that's the case then Ron Paul doesn't know the first thing about this country.

If it does, that will be news. The 0.5% rate cut should send the markets up, as long as other pressures on the markets are reasonably cooperative. Between Fed meetings rate cuts are not all that unusual in the modern era. There were several IIRC in the last 10 years pulled off by Greenspan & Co.

It did. Futures went sky high. Now they're negative again and world market selling off. Oh well.

The DOW is now down below 9300.

We may crack 9000 a day early.
