5)on the motherboard there are some things called northbridge and southbridge.what are these???please explain??

please dont use any technical or computer words explain all these in plain english. 😀

and also how do u flash a card from one to another?

1. RAM speed ratings, you want 2.2ns or lower
2. Text
3. a game engine is the base of the game itself, for expample, the quake 3 engine powers Call of duty, Quake 3, Star Trek Voyager elite force, etc.
4. PAT, ECC Ram, Etc.
5. Northbridge is the one with the heatsink and possibly the fan, south bridge is the other one

i didn't understand ANYTHING.please explain in detail and i also want to noe what are all these 2-5-2-2 timings in RAM?? :sun:

You now have *three* threads full of very basic questions, half of which do NOT belong in this forum. Go look things up on Google; we're not going to force-feed you information that you're clearly not understanding anyway.

QUIT POSTING.

1. Three threads asking the same questions is not necessary. Keep it up and you'll probably be banned.
2. It would help if you'd stick the questins in the right forums. For example, questions about ram timings or mobo chipsets are general hardware questions. This is the VIDEO forum.

Is your Google broken or something? You've gotten tons of answers already, and if you don't understand them as they've been explained three times then why the hell are you asking?

Stop posting.
