Doubling the bandwidth

Hi All,

I live in a place where the peak speed the isp offers for unlimited data transfer is 256 kbps. They do not offer a 512 kbps even at twice the cost. I was wondering if there is any way I can club the 2 X 256 using 2 MACs to make it look like 512 Kbps to the OS.

Thanks

Load-balancing is pretty much a lost cause for end-users. You'll gain maybe 25-30% bandwidth, and you'll have to pay for two lines. Not to mention the huge pain in the ass that is configuring such a setup. :p
