doubleparked in front of OWN driveway, got ticket... fightable?

so messed up partked for a few min. and got slammed. can i successfully fight this one ?
 
first of all, double parking means you have two cars next to each other, one in a travel lane on the road, the other against the curb... if that's what you did, then no, you're screwed. You dont own the road in front of your house. on the other hand, if you parked in front of your own driveway without a second car, then I dont see the problem.

Friend of mine actually parked just right outside my house. Although the road belonged to the association - the road wasn't really meant for the public to use. Someone* must have called the police ...
