Double sided CD-R media

Has anyone ever seen CD-R blanks that are recordable on both sides? I found some CD-RWs that are double-sided but I can't seem to locate any plain old CD-Rs.

that is weird... why would you want that? where would the label go?

They likely wouldn't get messed up any more than normal CDs do. The layer with the
data on it would be sandwiched between the plastic discs making up the two sides.

The label would work the same way labels on double sided DVDs work now, you might
have a thin strip of area around the center ring to use as a label. Or just write/print the
information on the case.

They have double sided DVDRs here and there - I have seen discs in taiwan and china but not in the US.
