Double Side memory.

I am looking for DDR2 533 or 667 sticks that are double sided.

I need 512MB or 1GB

Searching does not help coz it seems that the vendors do not provide such info.

Any one knows of a Double Side DDR2, and can point me in the right direction?

TIA

I found the pdf for Kingstone Value Ram, KVR533D2N4/1G

Quote:

This document describes ValueRAM's 128M x 64-bit (1GB) DDR2-533 CL4 SDRAM
(Synchronous DRAM) memory module.

The components on this module include sixteen
64M x 8-bit (16M x 8-bit x 4 Bank) DDR2-533 SDRAM in FBGA packages.

End of Quote.

Can I assume that this is Double side.

On Single side all the chips are on one side of the Stick.

On Two Side Stick, the chips are on oth side.

The differnce has to do with the amount of Banks and how the motherboard chipset intrlaves the memory.
Some older Mobos are Finicky about it and can not handle single side memory.

64M x 8-bit

means it uses x8 chips. You need eight of those to fill the bus. The module has sixteen, so it must be dual ranked.
