Double Screen Question...

Hey how can i get my taskbar to go all the way accross both two screens, not just the first one? And is there a way to have two differnt backgrounds instead of the same one on both screens? 😕

All help appriacted! 🙂

depends on the graphics card i think...nView allows for it...its a little checkbox in the settings (for the taskbar)

You should have Hydravision from ATI that came with your card. It's supposed to do all the things that $$ software claims. I have it and 2 monitors, just not the time to figure it out yet.

Hydravision is useless, it can't do crap. All hydravision is a bunch of multiple virtual desktops
Ultramon has something that could kinda make another taskbar on your second monitor, but it's not stretching the first one over.
Only an nvidia card can do that with horizontal span.
You can have two different wallpapers per monitor, you just need to stich the two wallpapers together with any basic image editor, then set it as your wallpaper using tile.

I had that with an earlier version of the driver for my Matrox G400, but lost it with subsequent revisions. I'll have to give the UltraMon a try.
