I know this is slightly off topic... but

How exactly do people make the mistake of double posting? I never double posted once in my life of Bulletin boards. (Unless i post it twice on purpose)

What exactly is going on when ppl accidentaly double post? Or are they really doing it on purpose?

The times I've double-posted, it's been because I accidently double-clicked the submit button instead of single-clicked it. For some newbies, they'll click submit, then when nothing happens after awhile (if the forums are slow or they're on dial-up), they might click submit again, which of course records two posts in the forums.

Exactly... you have to understand not everyone are on broadband... some people just get impatient sometimes...

For me it's something strange... You know how the thread reloads after you post a msg? Well, sometimes when I am at work and post a msg, IE reports an error when the thread is reloading after I click submit... And then when I click 'reload', my msg actually gets double posted... strange...
