double picture problems on my gf2mx

whenever i try to play a game at a lower resolution then my desktop is at(say Deus Ex for example) i get double vision on my moniter(like when you hold something close to your your eyes and see two of it) until i change the resolution. why is it doing this? i am using the newest nVidia drivers.
