double-clicking an icon doesn't open it any more...

Some how, I managed to make it so that whenever I double-click on one of my drives or any folder inside of it, it opens up the search/find window rather than opening the folder. I have to left click and select "open" now to open any folder. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi,

Probably a silly question...but have you tried the "restore defaults" tab under "folder options" in control panel?

Also,

What OS are you using?

Using Windows XP.

Just tried the restore defaults. Still not working...
