DOuble Click to Open Files In linux??

While tweaking and playing around with linux, I found an option that let me open file and folder with a double-click rather than a single click, now I cannot find that option anywhere I have checked every configuratuion program on the thing and can't find it. I had deletefd the account which I had chaged it on and now I wsh to do it again. I like the double click becasue it gives me more control and don't accidentally open something or by reflex open two or more of the same program. Does anyone know where I found it the first time, I am running KDE on mandrake 8.2. Ohh and also I would loike to get my sound working. I have one of those Modem-and-Soundcard-all-in-one-peice-of-crap things by Rockwell, I think it is called the Riptide Audio Controller, well there inlay the problem, it is detected and listed under the modem in configuration, so idon't know how to get my sound working.

Thanks in advance for any help, I have look for and answer to no resolve, and help would be reatly appreciated.

If you can find out what chip is used for the sound, you can find the driver. That wasn't a very specific description of your card 😉

Sorry, I don't know anything about KDE. Use GNOME...

Thanks but I already found the drivers, apparently they came out yesterday. So anyway thanks though. I would still like to find out where that option was, I found it once, but I just can't find it again.

In KDE 3.0 it is in preferences, then peripherals, then mouse, click to open properties. Under general tab, Icons settings.🙂

That should do ya.
