It's a total of 703 which shipping. I don't really want it any more than that. I have a monitor right now, but it's a mediocre one that's only 15". I plan to get one later in a couple of months.

Really the only thing I"m not sure about my build is the E2200 and my case.

If I get case cheaper case like the Centurion I"ll be able to get a E4500.

I don't know if I want to get a different case though. I like the 690 and it seems to be highly upgradeable for future upgrades. I was thinking of just going with the 2200 and a year from now get a quad core or whatever.

EDIT:

Oh, the build is for medium gaming. I mostly game on my 360 but this is just because I want a faster computer and want to be able to game on it if I come across any games I'd like to play.

Coolermaster Elite 330
Personally bought this case (it was a special at Fry's B&M, gonna be $20 for me after rebate and no shipping cost [only gas cost :p]) and it's an excellent case for the money. Look for review on Newegg by "MegaVovaN".

Why 2200? People here recommend 2180 for cheaper builds.

Next, $50 for 2 gb of RAM? I think you're overpaying here, I recently bought 2x2 gb of Supertalent DDR2-800 RAM from eWiz for $70!

If money is a real problem go for $25 DVD burner w/ free shipping.

Go with this RAM instead:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820211066

It's cheaper, the timings are essentially meaningless, and you're better off having RAM that's rated to run at 1.8V rather than 2.1V.

As far as the E2200 vs. E4500, you probably won't notice a whole lot of difference, especially if you're looking to overclock.

Ok, I chose that ram instead. Good find.

I think I'm going to go ahead with the E2200.

I"m still thinking about the 690 and cooler master though.

EDIT:

Just checked the 690 and it seems to now have a $15 rebate which I didn't even see before.

I think I'm going to go ahead with that then.

My total with shipping right now is $686.

Then the rebate will lower it when I get it.
