Dots on LCD monitor(not dead or hot pixels) Help!

Hi,
I noticed that while surfing the web and scrolling I sometimes get dots on my NEC LCD1760V. They are not hot pixels because they scroll with the website(move up or down). They are usually in groups of 4-8 pixels. Anyone know what this is?
Also when I move a window(any window) around the desktop sometimes these dots show up on the desktop. Is this a video card issue?

Thanks

I have absolutely no solution for your problem, but I will say that I know exactly what you're talking about!

Hope that helps... haha.

No I'm not overclocking and never have before. I just used ATI tray tools for checking temps...during gaming that is. My temps were around 72C during gaming. I called monarch and the tech said that was ok...?

But when surfing web I'm no where near 72C

its 44C when in windows

AI can think of is checking the analog connections, it sounds like certain colors are triggering weird things to happen...maybe turn off vidsynch if u can?

PS I do not know squat about displays, this is just from common sense.

Good luck

edit: Speeling

i have the same problem in rome: total war when i game at 1184 on a 1280 lcd, i chalked it up to non-native resolutions

PEOPLE I'm in WINDOWS. I'm not talking about GAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks...guess I'll be calling monarch tomorrow...I'm watching a DVD and a lot of these "dots" are showing up...

Maybe you need to reinstall DX9. Are you monitor drivers installed? Have you tried updating your grahics driver or installing another graphics driver that's much older? Don't forget to use driver cleaner in between those graphics driver installations.

sounds like your video card is artificting. try it on a crt monitor if you can or any other monitor for that reason

yea I tried it on another monitor...its still artifacting. I'll have to RMA it. One question before I do though..this is a connect3D card from Monarch, and during gaming it runs at 72C. I calle monarch and asked them if this is normal and they said it was? Do you guys thing this is normal? Could this have broken the ram in my card?

you havnt said what card you are using so no on can say if the temps are ok or not, i know my 6800GTO overclocked hits around 100 during games, but is perfectly stable and fine....so far..lol
