I just notice there are few dots on my screen when I play 3d games for a few minutes. There are alot of color dots when I do play 2d games also. From what I've read on this board, this problem can be pin pointed to the video card. Is this right? Also, how can I return to the manufacture since I bought this geforce 2 gts oem about 4 months ago from compgeeks.com I'm not sure what is the brand name of the video card. Can anyone give me any clue how to fix it or the process to get my card rma to the manufacture.
P.S: I have never Overclock this video card or anything on my computer.

Hi there;

If you are o/c'ing your vid memory too high, the first symptom is the "invading dots" phenomenon you describe. Try backing the mem speed down a couple clicks. If you aren't o/c'ing it, I'd call support for the card to ask them what's up.

Good luck!

If you aren't OCing the video card, it sounds like it's running too hot. Make sure that there's adequate ventilation in your case. Ideally, you should have a case fan in front blowing in, and another in back blowing out. Try to keep IDE cables and power cables out of the way so they don't disrupt airflow. Try using some of those plastic ties that come with garbage bags to keep your cables in order. If possible, don't put any cards in the PCI slot nearest to your video card.
