DOTHAN: why does the 730 overclock better than 760?

i was wondering why people get better results overclocking the 730 than they do with the 760. it doesn't make sense to me (especially if the multipliers are changable by downstepping).

can someone please explain this?

More overclockers buy the 730. Hence more likely to see an overclocker with a golden 730 than a golden 760 simply because there are more chances for it.

I dont think I've seen anyone with a 760 except a couple guys 3ghz+ on phase.
