Hi, I posted this in the operating system forums, but figure this forum might know more about whats going on.
I upgraded to vista a few days ago, ever since then, I've been unable to get my processor to step down to a lower frequency reglardless of load or power source (AC or battery). in Windows XP, i had it set up such that the processor would drop to 6x (800Mhz) when idle, and ramp up linearally in increaments of 2x based on load.
any ideas as to how i may implement this in vista?
