Anybody else remember a cartoon called 'Dot and the kangaroo'? I think it may have been a movie. I recently recalled a childhood memory of watching this thing, but it's kinda hazy and was wondering if anybody shared a memory of this. As I recall it was about a young girl who is basically wandering alone through some heavily forested part of australia. I just remember very noir scenary and a koala eating eukalyptus leaves. It's up there with 'Flight of Dragons' as far as hazy early childhood cartoon movie memories go.
 
I vaugely remember this as a kid (I saw it when I was ~5). Its hazy for me, too, but there was a part with some sort of monster- I can't remember much, but I do know it scared the bejesus out of me. I also remember at the end it showed a real kangaroo hopping away, looking sad.
