One of my machines when I use Start - Programs - DOS Prompt actually goes to the command prompt full screen. I have to type in the DOS command Exit to get back to windows. How can I get it to just open in a small window? win 98 SE

You may be able to right click on it and change it's properties from full-screen to windowed. But while it's full screen, if you hit ALT+ENTER, it'll toggle from full-screen to windowed and vice versa.

hehe, that wouldn't be in your DOS book, as this is a windowing thing Windows, not through DOS, hehe 🙂
