DOS mode Tv-out on recent/current cards?

I was wondering if any newer cards have Tv-out that work in DOS mode? I have an SiS 6326 video card laying around and the ONLY good thing that I can say about it is that the Tv-out conversion is handled on the card instead of in drivers. I'm not stuck with it if I want to use only a TV as a display and don't plan on picking up a tv with a VGA input, am I?

I hope not, because the Tv-out quality isn't that good and the 3-D is even worse!!!

I have an ATI radeon and a TNT2 Pro, both start with TV out on when there is no VGA monitor connected at startup, so no problems for dos (even works in the BIOS)
