Corona used to give me some sort of buzz but then again i havent drank that for months. Im on number 7 and no buzz yet =(

As gas prices go up, beer prices go up =*(
 
sam adams is a very low alch. beer...below 5% I think...less than budwiser...

let me add that I MUCH prefer a Sam Adams to a XX, but just going off your "not getting a buzz" comment.
Also assuming you are talking about the boston lager- same alch. as dos equis actually.

Sam should be 5.5 but i really am not feeling a thing. Usually i drink Sam Adams or Heineken but they were going for $18 bucks for 12...

Sam is good, depends on what Sam you're drinking...the regular isn't bad, but get the mix pack or the season stuff, it's delicious...dos equis is weak, yes, get the lager if you want something a bit heavier...
 
I order it when we eat at our favorite mex place. It's a good mexican beer (it was actually a german brewer in mexico, but anywho). I'm a big fan of amber beer, and XX is a fine dark beer.
 
Dos Equis or Corona goes down nicely on a scorching day. Not being heavy is a plus for those occasions.
 
I don't know why people waste money on overpriced Mexican beer.. just get yourself some bottle of High Life.. it is the same thing (cheap lager). Maybe it is because I've been to the countries that make Corona, San Miguel, Birra Moretti, St. Pauli's Girl, Tiger, etc.. and realize that those beers are the equivalent of High Life in those countries and you only think they're special because they're imported.
 
Maybe then need to reformulate it and call it Tres Equis...for sure it would sell better...at least to most ot the ATOTers 😉
