I don't own a SATA drive yet, but was debating whether to get one or just another EIDE drive.
I read that you can't see SATA drives when you are in DOS. Are there any drivers for DOS that would allow you to access the drive?
I mainly want to be able to see the drive in DOS so that when I go to reinstall WindowsXP, I always rename the Document and Windows folders to another name, so I can reinstall without Windows using those same directories again.
But if there is no way to get to the drive other than inside XP, then I might just not consider a SATA drive.
