Ok maybe i'm a bit thick but here goes:
Got a gigabyte 7IXE4 board and a Duron 800, newly installed, everything goes thru BIOS ok, but when i get to windows, CD-rom doesnt show, ON hard disk controllers IDE 1 and 2 both show exclamations marks and single fifo in brackets, on performance file system and virtual memory are both running in MS-DOS compatiblity modes. C-drive is also showing this.
Plz can anyone help this tech virgin
Cd-rom shows in Dos mode, and it is a primary slave
